NEEDLE Size Needed

Greetings all: Does anyone know what the proper needle size for a National Paveway machine is?

Thank you!

needle sizes are dependant on the weight/type of thread being used. visit the Superior Threads website for free information sheets on needles/threads

According to Ismacs needle list, http://www.ismacs.net/needle_and_sha...eedle-list.pdf Paveway takes a 20x1. You can also scoot down a standard 15x1.

Thank you both. I tried a 15x1 and it worked just fine. The orginal measures 1 3/4" and the 15x1 is bit shorter, but there wasn't any problems! Thanks for you help with this interesting little machine.

Ted,

Lucky you. I have two machines that use the 20x1 needles. One will let me short seat a 15x1 the other wont.
I've got some 20x1s but I need to set in a better supply of them.

Joe
