needs new motor????

ok so the man at the sewing center said it would be $200.00 for a new motor for my 99K, I have 2 other motors not being used,,,,, I am pretty "handy" with tools, whatcha think???? I really feel like I could "change" that motor out myself and use that $200.00 for material?Really, now how hard is this gonna be anyone ever try this????

Check out this thread I posted about putting a motor on a 99K.

They are a piece of cake to do. Depending on what kind of motors you have they might not need any wiring work, but they might too.
All depends.

I wouldn't spend $200.00 for a new motor, that's just way too much in my not so humble opinion.

So easy a trained monkey could do it (well almost). Really a piece of cake.

LOL. Yes, and you can find a 99K in fine condition for much, much less than the repair estimate!
