is now cleaned up and running quietly. She was so dry! No wonder she was noisy. Man will she run too! She goes so fast she'll about come out of the cabinet. Not that I will be sewing that fast though...she'll have to control herself. Even the flat spot on the wheel is not an issue. She literally purrs. I'm thinking about naming her Miss Kitty. I see now reason not to have her be my main workhorse for awhile. I just need to find bobbins. Class 15 bobbins will not work...The ones she takes are solid and not as fat as those. Anyone know where I can find any bobbins to fit her? And my hubby is just thrilled that I like her. He's feeling rather proud of himself for getting her.

Sew glad she is running well.

Should be able to find the bobbins at Hancock Fabrics...having just one is not enough, I know! That's what I'm dealing with with my treadles...need to find more!

I am not sure which bobbin it takes but like Charlee said go to Hancock or JoAnn's and take the one you have with you to match it up. Sounds like it might be like the 221 or class 66 bobbin. But do not buy plastic bobbins for it!!!

I called janome this morning to date the machine. They told me it was made from 1952-1953.
