Did you guys actually try to look up a number on this page? I keep getting a page that shows you where to look to find your serial #, but no chart of actual numbers.

LOL, I got the "new" link from a yahoo group, but I didn't try it out (I guess the person who supplied it to that group didn't try it out either). So where has Singer hidden this information now?

Looks like they haven't finished updating their site. They could have put an "under construction" sign or something!

I just used their "contact us" link to tell them about it. My experience in the past has been that all those links send email into the ether, but perhaps this one will work.

I'm glad it isn't just me! I was pulling my hair out last night and wishing I had printed the whole dang thing out when I had the chance! LOL!

When you get this page, there are three categories of serial numbers listed. (no letter prefix, one letter prefix, two letter prefix) Click on the category of your machine. It will take you to a chart of numbers. You may need to go a level deeper - say, to click on your prefix, to find out about your machine.

Correction - it did not work this morning. Usually it does. Wonder what they are doing at the singer website...

This is where I got my info, it's active. You might have to cut and paste this to your browser.

I got this info from a yahoo group. The Singer site is being updated, and eventually they say that the serial number information will be back and easily accessible. In the meantime, if you use the search box (upper right), enter "Serial #", you will get a list of topics that includes all the serial number pages that we used to be able to navigate to easily.

I was just on this site and all the information is here ready to look at

This is just part of the info, the double letter serial numbers. There are also single letter serial numbers and no letter serial numbers.
All will come up if you search for "Serial #"
