just for fun i checked the goodwill store site, and lo, and behold, there was a featherweight with case and accessories. i put a cap of $175, and got it for $171, which works for me:thumbup:. i don't know what year it is, but there are no measurement lines on the plate. don't know if it runs or not, but there are so many parts available it's not a problem! i can't tell you how excited i am!!!!! I want a white one too, as that was what my mother had that I let her give someone and did a let of sewing on, darn. They do show up, put in white weather weight on e-bay.

thanks! i can't believe how exciting this is! this is my 2nd b'day present. the first was an embroidery machine and now a featherweight. i sure do like being spoiled!! lol
