Since my BF was talking these machines, I thought I'd post a few side by side pictures. Yes, they are kinda rough and both missing plates, but they have potential.

Lovely machines! Although the W and W is going to take more work to get it to look good.Having the W and W bobbin is a big plus. Let us know how they compare once you get them all beautiful.

Those should clean up nice. If you go to the top of this page you will spot a search with a magnifying glass. If you type in Wheeler and Wilson you will see a lot of old threads on QB. It is nice to have so much information right here.

The W&W has serious pitts in the cast iron, so it won't ever be beautiful without body putty. I do love the medallion in the center of the base. Gotta find some needles and then we'll check them out.. I love how great a resource this place is. Now I know what needles to find

You would be amazed at what a little French polishing will do to smooth out the finish. Check out Glenn's tutorial. Practice on the ugly one. Read and re read until you are sure of what you are doing.
