Paveway Handcrank

I'm so excited about this cute little baby. The man who sold it found it in his attic. He grew up in the neighborhood and said the house's previous owner lived there since the 1920s. That's all I could find out about it.

I have to get ready for Christmas, so I haven't done a really thorough clean-up, but I do have it all oiled up and cranking nicely. I have no idea how to thread it.

I also found an app to resize photos (called Resize, appropriately), so I hope these are small enough.

Like to see that in person.. it's the same machine I've been working on . needle bar pictures has it as a brunswick paveway. mines a treadle, they have the same decals I see your has the handwheel mounted mid way on the column , this ones at the main shaft. both have that coil spring at the face plate..

what do think think that center/ rear decal is ? Looks like it's supposed to be a Sphinx body with a dog or
wolfs head

That one is just cute as a bugs ear ...

O if you don't have needles just short seat a 15x1, this one likes that better than using the 20x1. well I like it better

Pretty machine!
Thank you Steve for the threading diagram! Always good information to have. I know I wouldn't have guessed the needle bar was also the take up arm.
