Pfaff 30

My husband brought home a pfaff 30 today that looks like it has never been used. Does anyone know about how old this model might be? Should I oil it before I try it out? Any information you may have on this machine would be appreciated. I know very little to nothing about vintage machines, but I think they could easily become addictive!

Check this website out. At the bottom of the pictures you can download a PDF of the manual.

Yes, do oil it.

I have the Pfaff 130 from the 1950's and use it every day. I think you will enjoy your machine.

If it's that old and has never been used I'd be sure to oil it. Zoom, zoom.
