Pfaff rescue at Goodwill

I just couldn't leave her there. Unfortunately her motor has been removed and she's very dirty but after I clean her up she can watch me while I use one of my other machines until I figure out if she can be repaired. Her wheel turns smoothly and the needle bar goes up and down and she has a bobbin. Her serial # is 4 908 003 but I haven't found any info so far. She's a Pfaff 130. I think her name will be Fifi since she has all those F's.

She is pretty! Thank you for rescuing her!

If the machine has a motor boss a the front it's easy to put one on. Or, you could put it in a treadle :)

I bought my 130 with a blue motor added on. The original motor had either been swapped out or died. Anyway, the blue drove me nuts, so I sprayed it black. It's a great machine.

Excellent find, very desirable machine. Has a chained belt that will never slip. They love them in California.

I bought one of those once and put it in a Singer treadle. It fit perfectly.

Nice machine!

FiFi is going to be gorgeous when you get her all cleaned up! Her decals are just perfect!!! Wondering if you could get a motor at your local sewing machine dealers that would work???

I have this machine; by serial number mine was made in 1950 and says "Made in Germany". I also have a Pfaff 262 made in 1967 or 68. There is a yahoo group, Old Pfaffies group and there are members on there that sell parts. Also there is Zeus Machines and he restores them, and can rebuild original motors. Beware not to put a replacement Chinese made motor on it he warns. Not the same.....
