Here is a vintage Japan 15 clone... I bought it just because..... no reason. I think I was going to use it for spare parts.... Well I have been pulling all my machines out and I wiped it down for the dust. Well it must of be taken care of and stored in a very nice area.... I decided to plug it in and omg, it's running so smooth and quiet I just may have to use it.. But I am lost on a name..... it is metalic baby blue and all shiney chrome... I can not come up with a name ! The only two names that came to mind were Georgie and Peter! Could it be a male?? What do you think?

With a brand name of "Soverign" King George, King Charles, there's always Charlemagne... :)
Pretty machine!

JMCDA 02-02-2012 05:38 PM

Love it! Have 2 just like it - a full sized "White" and a 3/4 sized "Elna" and....I forget what I named them when I brought them home! LOL

.......why don't you go with the Sovereign theme - Elizabeth ( LIzzie) Victoria, Mary etc ....or Henry, Edward ( Eddie) or if we want to jump over Chuck, who might never make it to the throne anyway :-) you could call it William, Wills or Willy or Katherine (Kate) who will be Queen.

Pretty little gal...or guy!! Could be Little Boy Blue! Sounds like he really can blow his horn!

luce321 02-02-2012 06:14 PM

Really nice machine. I have never heard of the name "Soverign". I think Georgie sounds goods.

paulettepoe 02-02-2012 06:14 PM

There's Richard the III, who just happened to be married to my 13th great grandmother. LOL

sewgull 02-02-2012 07:01 PM

"Little Boy Blue" fits this cute machine.

audsgirl 02-02-2012 11:41 PM

How about Alice, as in Alice Blue Gown?

Dianna77984 02-03-2012 08:40 AM

Beutiful machine. I like the name "Blue Matellica"

Mariposa 02-03-2012 08:44 AM

How about Georgie Girl-? Or Grace? :)

jlm5419 02-03-2012 08:55 AM

Sophie - sort of short for Sovereign. :)

roserips 02-03-2012 09:02 AM

Well I have a 99 that I converted to a hand crank and he informed me his name was Jack! Now all my other machines have been girls ie Mykenzie, Salley, Elizabeth, etc. But he was definately a boy. I like King George or just King. Just sew on him for a while and he will tell you what his name should be.

Thats an interesting machine. I"ve never seen 1 before. Its really cool. I guess I'd call it Ol' blue. Love it. :)

Hi, don't post much - but read a lot. When I saw this machine I thought immediately BlueBelle. I'd call her Belle.
By the way, I just moved from Easton, PA last Feb! So I guess I'm feeling a double connection to you.
Blessings!

Gina! Short for Regina! That's what came to me when I saw this beauty!
Cheers, Cathy in MA

My husband thinks the name should be Suki. Is it a 15 or a 201?

craftymatt2 02-03-2012 02:08 PM

Very nice, thank you for sharing.

Grandma Cindy 02-03-2012 09:16 PM

Name it after Will and Kate's first son!

DFegan 02-04-2012 07:00 AM

I like the "Little Boy Blue" suggestion, but I lso like Charlemagne.

joycet 02-04-2012 09:48 AM

How about Bonnie Blue? LOL

quiltingcandy 02-04-2012 09:50 AM

What about Peter the Great? It is possible to be a male because it is blue and also there are a lot of great tailors in the world.

nancia 02-05-2012 02:07 AM

uh, not to go all pop culture on you, but there is a new baby, blue ivy.......
