I got this great cabinet yesterday. Unknown maker. It had a 70's Necchi in it. (sigh). Power train has disappeared. It has a spring lift with a puchbutton release. These are before pictures. Anyone know who made it, or ( yea right) where to find treadle gear for it.? Thankee. Enjoy it. Wish it still had all the wood detail, but happy with what it has.

I am guessing the original drive wheel was mounted in the little area behind the right door.

Cat wasn't a part of the deal, but you know how they are.

That would be Singer. I ended up with one for parts, had all the "guts" but the wood was in way rough shape. In fact, I think I've got two complete hardware sets for this style cabinet.

I have this style in a very nice condition, then have two other parlor cabinets that aren't so fancy, and two of the smaller style parlor cabinets - in addition to the extra parts. It's one of my favorite cabinets.

BTW - this end opens up too.

Wow that was fast. I keep thinking I need to go see you and your fabulous collection. I have a cousin working near Mt. Rushmore for the summer and it is soo (cough ) close to you. Road trip??

This 'puter won't let me see your pics. I'll check on a different one later. I'll prolly be drooling.

Cathy, your home must be so fun, you should just charge admission! Think of all the new/old machines you could then get:D

I may be able to help you out with the treadle gear. I had hoped to locate a nice cabinet for it, but so far no luck. And I am now in the process of downsizing, so if you are interested, I will be happy to take pics, etc.

I'm 4 miles north of I 90, just a bit east of Mitchell SD. So very little "boonie cruzin" to get to my place.
