As a last resort you could get a sewing machine case with wheels to transport. You still would have to lift the machine but not carry it.

I have a Bernina 1260. It's light enough to take to a class. I bought it used about 24 years ago and it still sews great. But no replacing the mother board if it goes out so think about repairs if going for the older ones. But whatever you choose I would suggest a Tutto roll around bag for it. It is the best and so easy to maneuver.
