RE: to featherweight
I was in a Antique Shop yesterday and seen a machine in a display case, it said featherweight but it looked like a child's machine. It was very small. They were selling it as a if it were a full size machine. I know they are smaller but are they that small, lol...can't see me sewing on that. Please clear me on this matter. I have only seen pic's of them, never one for real.

Here is a photo of a featherweight alongside a Singer 99 and 201, for comparison sake. Hope this helps.

They are small, about 11 pounds. I have a collection of them and love sewing on them. They're especially nice for small projects, piecing, etc.
