Make an offer and see what they do! :)

quiltsRfun 09-12-2014 02:26 PM

But it's been reduced by $208. How can you resist? LOL! Looks like they had one offer in April. Doesn't that tell them something? Maybe that's where the fantastic price reduction came in. The machine doesn't even look like it's in very goo shape. Course, a good cleaning would do wonders. I can't believe it when people list something like this without so much as dusting it off.

I just laugh to myself and keep scrolling. People are something.

Free shipping from the Czech Republic??????

sap 09-12-2014 11:54 PM

all items they have for sale/auction are way over priced.

People can a (Ask) what ever they want on EBay, that certainly doesn't mean they will get it, sometimes (often) they do not even know what they have, or have any idea its value. Sometimes it is funny to browse the listings and see the item a person ( thinks) is a real treasure. That machine will probably be one you can check on for years & watch where it goes - or how long it takes for the seller to give up. My $20 1956 singer was a real treasure find for me, in perfect, clean shape -- I've seen the same machine in terrible shape being offered for hundreds.... Crazy

Gee whiz! Who could turn down a deal like this...FREE Shipping, wowee. At least, it provided me with a good giggle this morning, and I needed one.

kayluvs2quilt 09-13-2014 04:25 PM

If you look carefully - the pictures below the ad are NOT of the same machine. I sure would not send any money!!!

earthwalker 09-13-2014 05:50 PM

I thought the prices they ask here in Australia are excessive.....Singers must be rare in the Czech Republic.

Heads up, Macybaby......

They come out of barns and haymows in Nebraska and sell for very little money in Nebraska.

Mrs. SewNSew 09-14-2014 06:19 AM

It's a Singer Improved Family with the painted flowers...cool, BUT way overpriced. I doubt that is the proper table. It looks like a rectangular cut out with the fiddle base machine resting without proper support.

Stitchit123 09-14-2014 10:23 AM

Golly gee at that price I'll take 2 -LOL. With shipping costs they won't be making enough to put gas in their truck to get it to the post office.

That cabinet has spent a lot of time outside in the weather. The whole set up looks like a major rust bucket to me, kind of like the 201-2 that I was gifted recently...
