Hmmm I've mostly stopped buying and this little piece of history shows up. 7 miles from my GF's house. Motor, case and Godzilla are probably all part of the rebuild. Will I get it? I'll know by the weekend.

1899 and no boss motor mount , but not the neat curvy one.

And I'll be curious to see how the motor was attached...after you get it this weekend.

Probably, a hard to get to the screws in the back for the mount - drilled directly into the back of the pillar.

Janey - Neat people never make the exciting discoveries I do.

Leon we must be twins separated at birth. I found this one yesterday. I left it behind only to drive back today and buy it. It has the crinkle finish and the non singer motor screwed to the back of the pillar.
