Replacement foot pedal for FW221
 

There seem to be a few choices for replacing the foot pedal on the FW 221. Can you please tell me if one is better than the other? Thanks a bunch!

The original controller was a resistance type. Currently you can replace it with that type or an electronic type. If you do a lot of slow sewing the resistance controllers will get warm to hot. The electronic controllers won't. The electronic controllers also have a better speed control than many of the old controllers.

Neither are particularly expensive or difficult to instal.
