That is really a cool idea! Just rehomed my carder... but if I had one, I would like it. I'm just using hand carders, as I don't process that much anymore. Well... I did a trade for a grace quilting frame. Wish I could have kept both.

What a stupendous idea, Cathy! Bet you can find a treadle base fairly cheap if you can be patient. But ... why are you reading about carding wool? Are you a spinner along with a quilter and collector of all things sewing?

KLO - my sister is the fiber person in the family, she raises sheep and sells yarn. I wander around on that board from time to time, and stumbled upon that picture.

I'd love to learn to spin - but that will have to wait until I'm down with sewing machines.
