Rescued Cinderella
2 Attachment(s)
DH and I saw this little beauty last Wednesday. Overnight I researched her background (not much info out there) but saw a few postings here on the QB. Took the chance she was still there on Thursday. Yes! She needs some spa time (dust, grime and chrome shined), a new box built for her, and serious wiring/foot pedal. The motor actually plugs in to a box that is wired to the foot petal- all different from my other vintage- FW and 15-91. But her flowers are so pretty. Thanks to the QB members' postings and help, I feel confident that I can build a box and get this little one running. If anyone has any suggestions, please post or PM me.

I think Miriam as one of these. She will know about it.

Oh my goodness.......she sure is a beauty hope you get her up and running

Look at those decals, so pretty. She doesn't look as if she's been used much. Good luck with your refurbishing.

She is absolutely Beautiful!!!! I would not have been able to pass her up. Lucky you.

What a pretty little machine!

I have the exact same little 'Cinderella' from a flea mkt for $10! But this was almost 20 yrs ago and the motor was "sparking" so I've used it as a bookend on a shelf. It is actually the second one I have been fortunate to find--the other in a yard sale (which I re-sold). Maybe some day I will put a new motor on and use it. They are so cute--were these small machines originally intended for young stitchers--does anyone know?

I said I wouldn't buy any more machines but this beauty would go home with me.

Great find? Lucky you for bringing this lovely home.
