Riccar 777 & Good Housekeeper Values

I am new to this forum and thought where better to go for information on two of many machines I have collected through the years. I have a Riccar RZ777 sewing machine and a Good Housekeeper/005123431 which I would like to sell...just downsizing and don't need to carry around with me any longer. Does anyone know the value of these two machines, I would like to sell ASAP. Both machines are in good condition and have hard carrying cases. Thanks Lana:thumbup:

"Value" is what someone is willing to pay in your area. There are many variables and price is very subjective. You should check closed ebay auctions to get a general idea. Though, ebay prices can be much more than some would pay.

We aren't here to do machine values or sell machines - I'm even uncomfortable when someone says how much they paid for a machine. Anybody can tell you anything. Prices go by how bad someone wants to get rid of it, condition, desire, region you live in, condition, type of machine - way too many variables. Try selling it on Craig's List.

It is hard to say since we don't know the area you are in. Prices vary greatly from one part of the country to the next. You might want to browse your local thrift/antique stores and Craig's list to get a feel for what vintage machines are going for. Good luck!
