Any suggestions as to a reasonably priced bag for my featherweight, to take with me to classes. Thank you

I made a simple grocery type bag for my FW. She fits right in and I can put it over my shoulder because she's so light.

They are small and light enough that anything would work. I know some friends of mine got a tool chest like thing with wheels and a handle at WalMart years ago. It was hard plastic and very sturdy, I think they paid under $30. It had a compartment to put the machine in and then on top of that it had another box that opened up with compartments. But I think anything you find that you like would work with this machine

JoAnn Fabric has/had the wheeled sewing machine trolleys marked down to $35 last week or weekend. The larger brown tapestry one would hold a FW case and all, the black & tan would hold the machine itself but I'm not certain about a case. I started a thread. (off to find that... brb)

Simplicity pattern 7087 from 2002 has a fabric sewing machine tote pattern. But 7087 from the '70s is clothing, so be careful.

Aldi's big fabric grocery bag is sturdy but big. Home Depot used to sell a fabric bag that is smaller and it rolls up.

I was going to make a tote, but found a nice wheeled briefcase type tote at the thrift store for a total of $3. Holds fabric, thread, etc- very convenient.

I bought a gym bag with a hard bottom at Big Lots for $9.99. It has a big compartment for the machine and some goodies, and a few other pockets for thread, etc.

Feather weight blog has some to make, one is a cover that converts to a bag to carry it with , I also have a orvis bag that it fits into w/ extra room,w/ long strap, and caring handles. DottieBug
