Came across this in the Good Will store today for $19.00. Near as I can tell most things move. I think the case said Fashion Mate. Opinions please?

YES!!!! i use that machine made in the late 50s to quilt lon beautiful stitching!!!

I have 2 of the 401-A's, they are great machines, I paid $35 for one of mine and $20 for the other. Most of the time they are at least $100.

Get it! It has been rehomed in a fashion mate case but it is definitely a Singer 401.
