Should it fit?

I've been looking for a base /cover for the Singer 99K I picked up and have been working on getting fixed. Recently saw a Singer 128 (1952) advertised w/base and bentwood case for sale. Should the hardware fit/work between the 2 models? I know they are supposed to both be 3/4 models...but I'm searching online for more exact measurements and not sure I can find that info.

Appreciate any opinions!

Unfortunately, even though it will fit the cut out, the 99 is actually deeper than the 128 by about a half inch.

I suppose you could modify it like someone did - https://www.quiltingboard.com/vintag...s-t303598.html

Err, no. I will keep looking for another base. Thanks for confirming.
