As much as that groove looks intentionally machined into the part it is not in pictures of the new parts. I got an order for three new needle set screws for $6.80. I could have ordered two thread guides and and two needle screws and two thread guide screws for a dollar more. It’s not the cost but the week long wait to get my new parts.
