It also uses the 206-13 needle and the "L" type bobbins as the 319. For $15.00 I wouldn't be asking if it was a nice machine, I'd be bragging about what I just brought home for such a great price. Joe |
+1 They (all Swing Needle 206/306/319) are a little odd to work with at first, but interesting machines. I have one of each. That brown crinkle paint is the worst thing to get the grime off of, though. I sold the brown crinkle 306 and kept the black one.

I second Joe's statement about dragging it home. Even if you hate it, it would be worth the money to play with it for a while:> I have a 319 and it's not high on my list of favorites but it's still fun to have.

Thanks for the input. It came with the user manual and a box of stuff that I need to investigate.

I have one I bought new, the cabinet should be worth $15. my machine still sews great.

I had one with a crinkle finish that took cams, didn't use it much, and traded it in on a 306 collector's machine, which I still don't use. I guess that tells me what part of the herd to thin! $15 is a great price, especially with cabinet.
