Singer 328A

My neighbor had me over yesterday to trouble shoot her Singer 328A
In looking this morning for an original tensioner I've found tons of 328K's across the web, but no 328A's.
I thought the A and K extension were the location where singers were built.
I'm making the assumption the parts can be cross used, but is the A rare-ish?

Her dad bought it for here for graduation, how cool she still uses it!

I, too, think that the majority of parts can be cross used.

Did you find a serial number? I know that on some models the serial numbers can be hard to find/read, even if you know where to look.

Nice that she still uses it. Good luck in getting it back in working condition for her.

*** Mine is a 328K but the Instruction Booklet is only a 328 no letter after it.
***
*** Maybe all parts will fit. and Letter is a designation of manufacture plant.
