What can you tell me about the Singer Model 68 crinkle?

I am betting it is an industrial sewing machine and probably one you will need a manual for. Gonna go do an Internet search as I have not seen one before.

I have one...had it cleaned etc, but haven't used it yet. I searched and it was made in the '40's. Someone thought because it was made during WWII that it had something to with the kind of paint used. I'll be glad to hear more!

I looked at the picture on Google. I have never seen this model before.

We ended up getting a black faceplate and needle plate 128 instead. Arrived in good shape just needs new cord. Haven't attempted any rewiring yet but ordered new cord.
