Singer serial numbers
 
Two questions here:

Where's the serial number on a 600? it's not in the same place as the 400 and 500.

The Ismacs serial number database stops before the slant needle machines. I can't find the Singer serial number database. Anyone know the search term?

Not much help here, but this link has 301-503 dating, as well as other info.

It is on the underside of the bed to the left of the needle. It is hard to see, sometimes, even knowing where it is.

Do you mean http://ismacs.net/singer_sewing_mach...-database.html ?

I think you will find the 600 starting with AN or AP, at least that is what mine are.
