I picked this up yesterday at a second hand shop. paid $40 and needs a good cleaning but appears to be in good working order. I need to do some research as the needle is broke and to just learn the machine.

It's a children's machine. Don't be disappointed, though. Very collectable and quite functional. Well worth $40.

Looks like the Singer Model K20 that was made in Turkey.

Do you have the handle for for turning the crank?

I surely do not have the handle. I am going to a steam engine/flea market today and I will be looking.

Oh, and it wasn't the '70s one made in Turkey. Looks like an original from the '20s, probably made in Scotland
