LOL. That sounds like a little machine quirk that I would get attached to. :D

If your girl has a smoking problem perhaps Chantix or Nicorette would help. Sorry Joe, could not resist the funny.

The anti-smoking products got my attention. LOL. And Joe, that puff of smoke would probably drive me nuts. But the blue machine is a livin' doll--so girl's name, huh?

It sounds like the Little Engine that Could.
So name it the Blue Choo Choo.

Hey, that's not a bad idea.

I got a short video of one puff of smoke. I'm going to try to download it later today.

OK, if you'll watch carefully you can see the puff of smoke that comes out when I start sewing:

I can't imagine inhaling all that is good for you or anyone else in your house.

Looks like a little ghostie wisping out of the motor. Perhaps it needs a blessing.

Again you can eleminate the smoking motor. You have oil on the armature and when the motor is started the brushes create a small spark thus the smoking. Joe clean the motor I am tired of all the chat over this small problem including the cure by using no smoking medication. LOL I really enjoy your humor. It has been a fun read. Clean your motor, motors should not smoke. They can catch fire you know.

Hope your machine has given up that bad smoking habit; she's still a beauty.
