So... what about Singer 101's

I know the 201's are supposed to be the pinnacle of old black singer development, ball bearings and such,
but what is a 101 ? is it related to the 15 or 66 class machines ? is it a weird "one off" out in its own little world. What bobbins, vertical or horizontal ? Tell me about them is any one knows. I have found one for sale that I am watching.
Thanks
Dan

I have one, but all I've been able to discover about it is that it was the first machine designed to be exclusively electric, with the potted motor. I actually bought it for the cabinet, but the machine as included, "no extra charge." I'm not at home right now, so I can't answer about bobbins and such.
