Yours looks like an early Japanese zigzagger, the early ones seems to have metal lever, later on knobs and combo push-turn dials became the standard. Have you managed to thread and stitch with it? I noitced the square lid on top of the machine and I assumed it was for cams, but it can of course be for oiling and service.

I asked $75.00, hoping to just get rid of it and expecting to get a lower price for it. He didn't negotiate at all. So, I'd suggest you try the same tactic. You might get $75.00.
