tension fixed..thanks for the help!

I posted last week needing help with the tension on my 15-91. Thanks to all who answered, my machine is up and running and I can even adjust the tension!!!!!!!:D It took several tries to get everything put back together, but I'm so glad I kept playing with it until I got it right. Couldn't have done it without the help of the people on this board. THANK YOU for sharing all your knowledge!:thumbup::thumbup:

Taking a tension apart to clean it isn't terribly difficult. Don't be afraid to try. Just pay attention to the order you take it apart in. Tools for self reliant living (TSFR) has an excellent guide on repairing old sewing machines. It walks you through rebuilding and adjusting tensions very nicely. http://www.tfsr.org/pub/technical_in...echanism_2.pdf
I haven't messed with a featherweight so I don't know if there are any quirks to be aware of.
