Thanks to Macybaby, our puzzle box is almost complete. All that's left to find is the two screw drivers.

Which screwdrivers do you need? I am always looking out for bits and pieces; I'd add yours to my list.

I'll keep my eyes open for them, Joe...when you let us know just which ones you need.
(I remember selling a couple of these puzzle boxes at least 5 years ago. Picked them up for a song...)

Well the small screwdriver is like the awl in the box. It has the looped handle with the end wrapped around the shaft.
The large screw driver is just looped around but it's pinned in place. I don't have a postable picture of them.

Postable, not available though, they belong to these 2 boxes (Some of my attachments - rufflers and tuckers iirc - aren't original. They're placeholders til I find the correct ones.):

Tammi, Thanks for the pics. Those are the ones I need. Joe

Congrats Joe! 2 screwdrivers away from complete is pretty cool! I'm sure they'll show up sooner or later too. Macybaby is a great person. She's very generous with her extras and her knowledge. She's helped me out more than once and she's good at spoiling the daughter too. :)
What's really cool is she isn't alone in generosity or helping people out on this forum. Among other things the quilts I've received from the members here are proof of that.

Fortunately (maybe unfortunately) I don't have a machine that needs the puzzle box to be complete. My 1908 model 27 treadle Ella is the closest. Her treadle stand originally had a center drawer with a molded insert for her attachments. The bad news is my replacement drawer for her doesn't have that feature.

If we think of our sewing machines as ladies are their attachments the same as jewelry?

I just got these today - These are what all the Manual drawings show - the one with the pin. Don't know when Singer switched to the style without the pin- probably found out it wasn't needed so they stopped putting it in.

This is one of my favorite - came with the British set of early attachments

These all have the same part number - the two bright ones also have "Singer USA" on them.

Some of my others - I've tossed them in the box as I get them, and have not yet gone through to see what I need for all my sets (and I have a lot of sets). All of these came with sewing machines and/or attachments.

Thanks to Macybaby, I too am down to only needing 1 stiletto/awl in my 2 boxes. Thanks for your generous offering, Cathy. Woo hoo. You're the best!
