Ok, so I stopped by a junk store on the way home from work and this is what all came home with me. Two great sets of scissors and two not so great shape Singers. The one in the wood holder has a serial # G0324285, I'm thinking it's from 1924 and the one in the greenish case serial #G6623176 from 1919. The 1919 is in much better condition. Let me know your thoughts. :)

I think you have some projects on hand. Post pics on the Vintage gallery.

So what did you coax them into your car with? spools of thread?! ha ha ..... nice finds. nice red eye 66! and the one with the shuttle bobin is very nice... though it can be a bugger to sew with a shuttle if you have it just so........

I think they are beautiful..... wow.....

wow, think they will clean up nice. I personally like the shuttle machine. Sew with one on all my piecing. Love it.

Great machines. The second one looks like a 128. It will take some work but both will be good sewers.
Congratulations!!

Love the singer scissor box! Would have loved to see the scissors! Don't find this kind of "junk" in CA.
