That tray isn't for a 221, he was wrong about that, but perhaps it's meant for a 3/4 machine.

*** Thanks Cari-in-Oly.
*** I thought he was wrong.
***
*** It has the holes for a treadle belt, I think.

I looks like a case base that can be set into a particular treadle cabinet. I've only ever seen a couple pics of those. There was only one cabinet built for a 221, not a portable base.

The top long bobbin machine and the second long bobbin machines are not the same model or the top one was refurbished. If it was from 1904 it was refurbished or motorized.
Why is the top machine's bobbin winder at the top of the machine and the other long bobbin winder low? That was either original or from a refurb. You can search ISMACS for the serial number to be sure what model you have. Is the top machine smaller than the top? The machine at the top is either a later model than 1904 or it has been refurbished. Is there a motor boss or did they drill a hole for the motor to mount?

The second machine is a clone of a Singer 15. Those are most often very well made and well worth putting some effort into putting it in top condition. New wires and foot control can be found on line if you see cracked or broken wires - very easy fix. I have several popular threads about the Singer 15 clones.

Nice cabinet after you rehab it very unlikely anything there is a FW component.

They "tray" in the parlor cabinet is twofold - drip pan and support for machine as it is a lift. A few of videos about parlor cabinets. https://www.youtube.com/results?sear...parlor+cabinet

*** Thank you OurWorkBench for the info.

*** Now if I can only get mine to look like one of those.
***
*** I think the machine might be like both of those.

I think your parlour cabinet is missing the wooden piece on the back that encloses the whole cabinet. Great find, though, and for free! Does the little button on the front work, to activate the spring mechanism and raise the machine to the top?

*** I have another piece and that may be the one you are talking about for enclosing.
***
*** No, the button does not work, but I am working on it. I am hoping it will.
