Treadle belt alternative.....
 

Keep those connectors no matter what. Once you have those you can use aquarium tubing too. Lehman's also sells a rubber belt but I think most machines would need two of them. Mine did.

Anyone know what those connectors are called and where you can buy them?

I'm using aquarium tubing with a home made connector. It ain't gaudy yellow, but it works just fine.
