I am wondering if it could be a boot patcher, industrial type?

The "Two Tier" is most likely what we call a "branded" machine. That is where a company (like National Sewing Machine Company) would put ANY name on a machine you want if you ordered at least 5. So the key would be to get a picture of the machine and post it so that we can find out who actually made it and what model of machine is under the decals.

she makes this sound as if it's just the stand The singer 29 would be the only one with singer on the stand and looking like two tiers.

as said without a pic this is just a guessing game.

you found it meaning you have seen this so use google and find pic's that match

I read it that the machine is a Singer, so the "two tier" is not the name but description. I agree, that would probably be a patcher.

However we've seen so many sellers that refer to a sewing machine as a "Singer" no matter what name is on it.

I saw an add - it shows a Davis made VS machine - badged "unique" seller went on and on about how rare it was and that they couldn't find anything out about it - so it must have been a small, unknown company that made it (of courses, that means it's work $$$)

I sent them an email, but they never changed the add - was still for sale last I looked.

I don't have any pictures of my patcher on the stand to share, and it's out in the shed right now.

If it's the patcher's treadle and is complete, it's well worth $40 no matter what shape. Of course, it can be used only for the 29-type machines and no use for conventional domestics without being modified, like adding a table top. But value is more than $40.

Okay, seller described the machine and its a patcher's treadle. Am keeping my eye out for a Singer 66 treadle. Thanks everyone, Deriz

if it were me and it's 40$ . I'd be jumping on it asap, are you now saying it's machine and stand ?

even the stand alone at 40$ is unheard of . Those stands are harder to find, than the machine is.
