uneven stitch with 301 Singer

My Bernina is in the shop and trying to use my 201... now having trouble with it.... uneven stitch... any ideas or suggestions....???? I hope you can see in the picture. thanks...

looked at manual...oops.. had my needle in backwards... that did it.... sorry...

Glad you found the fix easily because when you want to sew, you want to sew not mess with problems. This is so easy to do (that is, needle in wrong way) especially if you have more than one machine. I actually have put a tab on the page in my manuals so I can quickly check if I am not sure how the needle goes in. My memory is so bad that I can never remember which machine takes the needle which way.

Thank you for posting picture and then letting us know what was causing it. It really helps when I'm researching a problem to be able to find a solution. Too often, I see a thread that is similar to what I'm looking for and either there is no solution or I have to wade through several pages to find the solution -- or not.
