Vintage Parts & Attachments to Singer & White Sewing Machines
4 Attachment(s)
DH purchased a used sewing machine for a project that he is doing and the attached Singer & White sewing machine attachments were thrown in. The first two pictures are of a Singer Buttonhole attachment which is in clean and excellent shape apparently in the original box but I have no idea which machine it will fit or if it is worth any money. Pictures 3 and 4 are feet and cams that belong to an older White sewing machine shown in the picture with all the feet and then the cams in their original metal box that apparently go to the same machine.

OK, From the top down:
The tin contains fancy stitching cams for that White machine I suspect. The half round part is a needle plate, can't tell what it's for. The foot leaning on the wooden spool is an adjustable zipper or cording foot. The part with the little orange nob is a hem guide (will fit the Singer too). The part at the rear with the curved arm is a quilting guide. Just forward of that is what looks like a high shank hemmer foot. The other looks to be an off set straight stitch foot. (Zig-zag machines that park their needle to the left will use those.) In front of the feet is a Class 15 Bobbin case with three Class 15 bobbins. The foot to the left of the bobbin case looks to be a button foot. I can't tell what the foot just behind that one fits. Boy them are some purty cams. Wish they'd fit my Monkey Wards machine. Joe PS: For those X-spurts here, how did I do on the ID?? |
I actually have that older White sewing machine. It was my mothers, bought new in the late 60s. It's a good machine. As a teenager, I enjoyed playing with the cams to see what designs I could come up with. The White makes button holes without special attachments.

FWIW The buttonholer that came with one of my featherweights is in a box just like yours and it does fit my featherweight. However, I can't see your buttonholer well enough to know if it has a straight or slanted attachment and my buttonholer is a different color than yours (mine is white).

I would like to buy the White parts (pictures 3 and 4). They appear to be for my 1961 Model 6477. Judging from other site prices, I will pay $30 plus your shipping and postage costs.
