vintage presser foot, please help identify
 

This foot appears to go to one of my vintage machines but it's totally unfamiliar to me. It showed up on the floor today when I was going thru a pile of sewing stuff and I honestly don't have any idea where it came from. I own 3 vintage Berninas and the first New Home MemoryCraft 7500 from the later 1980s; this foot -- or part of a foot -- doesn't look familiar to those. I feel like I have a gremlin in my house, Help!

It is called an "Attachment Foot" and comes in a few versions. It can be used by itself, for quilting or possibly with an underbraider which is attached to the bed. Frequently, I've found, that the Attachment Foot is missing in sets that have the hemmers or other pieces. I'm guessing that the attachments got separated from the machine and it was on the machine.

I think I have seen them for a slant shank and maybe a high shank, but yours looks to be for a low shank.

The piece that attaches looks familiar and is probably in a box here somewhere; that will be fun to find.
