Yeah, I was up to the low 20's. Now I'm finally down to about 10. These final ones are hard to give up, though. I've sold some, given some away and trashed a few. One guy drove 200 miles to buy my Montgomery Wards 21 Jewell machine.

Most are wonderful machines. It's amazing how long they've lasted and how well they perform. (Says the woman whose 5 year old washing machine just broke.)

Transportgal, The oil points in the manual are for a machine that is in regular use. When I hind one that hasn't seen regular use for a decade or7, I oil every place I can find that has two points rubbing together. Take that faceplate off and get serious with the oill

And some of bkay's machines headed from Texas to Kansas. Thanks again.

Bkay, there is a gasoline powered Maytag washer for sale near me. I've always wanted one. Kick start ( Sort of)

Any of your vintage machines will sew Carhartts. Have fun collecting. I need to sell one to make room for a cat condo, but I haven't listed it yet. I think the 1926 White Family with the pearl inlays will be the next to go.
