Welcome Olivia!
Olivia is her name, sewing is her game. She is a beautiful 221 Singer. She blessed this world in Aug. of 1947 and hummmmms a beautiful song. Sorry I don't know to post her picture because I am a quilter not a computer geek, therefore I know nothing about doing it. But you have seen her siblings somewhere along the way. Thank you for humoring me.

Welcome aboard and congrats on your new family member! The featherweights are beautiful machines and are on my want list. Maybe someday. My daughter is named Olivia too but she's a bit younger, a 2003 model. Posting pics is easy. Just click the picture icon above where you type and the program will walk you thru it. Once you've done it once it'll be second nature for you and it's well worth learning how. Besides, we all like pictures. :)

Congratulations on Olivia - it's good to know another machine has found a good home :)
I agree with Rodney, we all like pictures! I hope you figure out how to post them; there was a tutorial in one of the threads here a few weeks ago, but I don't recall which one. Just because we've seen other 221's, doesn't mean we don't want to see yours, too! |
Thank you guys for the encouragement . Perhaps I will try posting a pic later today. Need a break from months of trying.

Congrats!!!!!!

Dear Olivia, Congratulations on your new home! Today I adopted your Aunt from 1934. She's kind of tired looking, and her case is a mess. Needs a foot pedal and power cord in addition to a bath. Her name is Eunice after my wonderful Great Aunt who lived in the mountains and made quilts by hand and treadle. Hoping to get her moving soon.

Congrats and welcome from SW Ohio! Two of Olivia's cousins live with me. 1936 and 1948.
