What kind of machine is this?

Can you help my mom out, she bought this machine because she fell in love with the cabinet but can't find out what type it is and the wrong manuals are inside the drawers. (I asked if she was sure on that one but guess so since it was a manual for an electric machine!)-hers is just like this one:

It looks like it's in pretty good shape but I don't think I've every heard of a lockstitch special. Someone hear will be able to help you identify it though..... and the cabinet is great.

I have a very similar cabinet, but the drawers have indentations instead of knobs to pull. Mine holds a Standard Rotary. I don't know how interchangeable the bases and machines are, but maybe yours is a Standard?

I am going to guess that it is a badged National sewing machine. It appears to be in great shape and in a gorgeous cabinet also. National produced thousands of badged machines that were sold in department stores. It likely is a vibrating shuttle machine.

What a beautiful cabinet! The machine would really shine if you clean it up with sewing machine oil and cotton balls!

Beautiful cabinet, go to the siner site and try to find one that looks like it. It is probably a clone, or like someone said google national sewing machines. You may find something about it. Looks to be in pretty good shape.
