An iPad of my very own! I no longer have to share. I use it for a lot of quilting stuff....posting on QB, watching MSQC videos, QuiltCam with Bonnie Hunter...I am thrilled!

Well, I got a GOOD SURPRISE......a Singer 401a in a cabinet with the stool and all the accessories (that I could figure out in a quick look with so many bodies here for our Christmas party); from my son. I was flabbergasted; made pictures, and will post them soon. I didn't even know I wanted one until a few days ago, reading over the forum postings, thought to myself (well, I guess this one will go on my next "need" list).....

My sister got me 2 of the Inspired LED sewing machine light kits. So easy to install and very bright. I put one on my Commander 15 clone that I have set up for fmq.

A gift card to Joann's! Olivia and I already went and used it along with some emailed coupons from there. We ended up spending more than the card was worth but I think it will be worth it and we had fun shopping.

I love mine from an estate sale. In the desk cabinet. check out the videos on Youtube. Many that show what the 401 cn do. Believe me I've tried a couple, especially the leather test and the canvas test. I've used mine at least once a day and DH has used it also. Have fun with it.

Hubby and I don't exchange gifts with one another at Christmas. We have a comfortable home and plenty of other things. I am in the process of making him wool socks and will be done with the first pair by the beginning of next month. He has purchased tickets for a concert in February. We do, however, select gifts for our grandchildren. :-)

Along the quilting/ sewing theme, we ordered two sets of the quilt hangers available from Ami Simms website. Then we ordered two sturdy Graber oval curtain rods which are adjustable. Let me tell you that this quilt hanger system is the best thing since sliced bread! We had no difficulty in placing the quilts on the wall and will not have any screw or nail holes when we want to change the display. Through the use of the trademark Command strips, the wall will be in pristine shape. This is our way of selecting something we will both enjoy. It sure takes the pressure off of the holiday preparations and our budget remains intact. We are enjoying our Christmas wall hangings.... Merry Christmas!
