This is one of my favorites. It's not on the ISMACS site, and I don't have a "real" photo of it, this one is from a Singer Calendar I have

http://www.ismacs.net/singer_sewing_...ar_2_0133b.jpg listed here (about 80% of the way down the list) "Early 20th Century Industrial - Probably the most common industrial decal" http://www.ismacs.net/singer_sewing_...al-decals.html |
Thanks Steve! I always forget to check the industrial decals! :) I keep thinking I could FMQ that bed decal,... maybe trapunto it.
|
The bed decal is the same as the Singer 29-4 (and they make repro's of it)
I have a set that I have not applied yet, and could scan it to make a JPG if you want to make it into a pattern. |
Oh Steve! That would be wonderful! The clearest picture I've ever seen of it is from Keeler sales, but a good quality scan would be awesome! :) I could turn it into a line drawing from a scan.
I might be able to extrapolate a little from photos I have of the one on the pillar and create something similar as well. I have this weird idea that I'd love to do a sort of trapunto'ed wholecloth with some of the Singer decals as inspiration. (Yes, I've been perusing my Karen McTavish books again... ) |
My favorite would be the cornflowers and roses, but I love the Redeyes, too.

I love the red eye even though I am selling my treadle, space issue.
