I caved and bought this W&W #9..but I'm pretty happy with it :) Just wished it would have came with a glass pressure foot. I have one for a 9 but no inserts yet...

Really nice!! :)

I might be wrong, but don't think the later 9W came with the glass feet....and they're not all they're cracked up to be (pun intended) as one "mis-stitch" can shatter them.

I don't sew with mine at all...they're cool to have, but I won't chance breaking them.

Think it's the WW#8 and earlier with the glass slippers. My #9 attachments are all steel. Going on road trip to pick up a WW#8 tomorrow.

Enjoy your #9, looks beautiful.

Jon, not to argue, but I thought the early 9s had glass too?

Could be, I'm only familiar with the steel and the glass feet on the #8 though I'm very far from WW Guru.

Jon

edit: I will search the Needlebar as I'm real curious now.

What did you find Jon?

:) Nevermind, I found your other post!

What a pretty cabinet, too. Now that I have this WW D9 head, I know what she's supposed to look like. Haven't cleaned her up at all yet but either all her decals are gone or they are buried under alot of grime.

Let me know if you find them as I can't find mine either. ;)
