Where can I buy a hand crank for my singer red eye

I saw several on ebay, but one has a fold up hand crank, another chinese writing on it.
Does anyone know where I can buy a nice sturdy hand crank (not a machine, just the crank)? thanks

The original is a fold up handcrank - are you looking for something different?

Originals often sell in the $75 to $100 range, so it may be cheaper for you to watch locally and see if one shows up and buy machine and all. Or get the aftermarket one for $15-$20. They don't look as nice, but most report they work fine.

jmabby,

Here's a couple pics of a Chinese hand crank on my 99K I named Rusty:

As Macybaby said, the Chineese HCs may not be a nice as the originals, but they do work and don't cost near as much.

I have purchased a couple of hand cranks from Sew Classic and they work just fine.

I have the Chinese (aftermarket version) on my Singer 66 and it looks better than my machine itself does. If you really need to be Singer specific, be prepared to look all over creation and back and still not find one. Hand cranks are not too well known yet, think Featherweight frenzy here, so I just gave up and went with using what I could get--plus the price made a difference (big, as in $20, compared to nearly $100) even on ebay and Amazon.
