Where can I find . . .

I need to find a Bobbin Tension Adjustment Screw for a Singer 327K. I FOUND one at a yard sale for $3. I have cleaned her up and she runs beautifully. The only issue is that there is no adjustment screw in the bobbin compartment. The screw to hold the tension bar in the place is there, I just need the screw to tighten or loosen the tension on the thread.

HELP - I really wanted this machine. I love my 301 and use it almost exclusively. Now I have the capability of zigzag and stuff with the working mechanics of a 301.

BTW DH tried to take it to the sew/vac place on his way to work. They said that the entire bobbin component needs to be replaced for $180. Yeah - right. Not in this lifetime - and - um - NEVER.

Thanks in advance. I have no doubt that you guys will be able to help me.

I have a vintage FreeWestinghouse that I need a bobbin case for! Anyone know where I can look to find one? Sewing Shop told me they were discontinued about 30 yrs ago. The machine is over 70 yrs old and the bobbin case is frozen and can't be ajusted! I learned to sew on this machine and inherited from my mother who really didn't use it. Special memories and, after a good cleaning and oiling, works like the old days! LOL Please help!!

Jrhboxers, Is it possible that any Singer bobbin tension screw will fit...I'm thinking they might be interchangeable. If not, there's an entire bobbin case on ebay now for $45 w/free shipping.

Sew-Classics has this bobbin case adjusting screw for sale: http://www.shop.sew-classic.com/Scre...301-201016.htm
I'm not sure it's exactly like the one you need, but at the price it might be worth a try.

Maybe we should have a specific Parts Wanted thread?
