White FW in sad shape :(
I just saw this one on GW
{ http://www.shopgoodwill.com/auctions...-18354816.html } I thought to myself there's another one gonna go for a big price. Then I looked at the pics and read the text .... :( :( . Poor 'lil thing. Joe |
I called gal from a lqs who had one for sale. Went to look at it. She wanted $450. It didn't look this good. Couple drunken sailor words slipped and I apologized. I didn't know til I got there she wanted that much. The paper in the binder said 45.00. I called the quilt shop and told them about it so they could make a note about discrepancy in price. I told seller the price stated 45. not 450. Oh well! Things happen. Good thing about the drive was it was a nice drive.

:(Looks like the case was sitting in water.

Looks to me as though the belt is on wrong, but it's hard to tell. Still, I would think someone would want it for parts at least, or for decorative purposes. Price certainly was low.

Lynn,
The auction still has 6+ days to go. I suspect it will go a lot higher than it is now. Joe |
Very tempting...I've always wanted a white Featherweight. Not sure I want to deal with a ton of rust.

Susie,
Having rejuvenated several rusted machines, I second those thoughts. Joe |

Might be a good candidate for a repaint. Whoever gets it can count on either rebuilding the bottom of the machine or parting it out.
