White Model 578

Recently picked up a White Model 578, it is in very good condition even though the case was battered. Runs extremely smooth and was only $15. Extremely heavy. Any info on this machine and if any online sites offer free manual would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Looks like a great old machine! You've got lots of built-in cams and a buttonhole system. And it's old enough that it was made when they were made well. I like the old Whites.

Don't know where everyone gets their manuals, but it ought to sew well for you.

Have fun with it!

You can get a free manual from Singer. The website is www.singerco.com; just type in W578 for the model number.
